Thankful for Healthy Paws!
Healthy Paws has been so helpful to have for our bulldog Stella. They’ve always provided fast and friendly service and checked in on Stella after a major surgery she needed. English Bulldogs can come with a number of health issues in their lives. Being a family that adopts and rescues bulldogs we need all the help we can get. Of course in our case with Stella she had no preexisting conditions since she came to our family pretty young. Healthy Paws definitely helps with those unexpected medical expenses. Does not cover everything of course. Preventative care is not covered. But unexpected surgeries or monthly allergy injections which Stella needs are covered up to 80% and that helps so much!

Huge, unjustified rate increase after 1 year
Be warned: their website claims that they make only small annual increases unrelated to past claims or age of the pet, and only considering advances in technology and care procedures. But our renewal proposal was for a 33% increase with no justification. Cancelling with them to go with a less exploitive company.

we have been very happy with trupanion…
we have been very happy with trupanion and how they have helped us with three of our dogs in the last 6 months. there would have been no way for us to get our dogs the care they needed if we did not have trupanion. we very much recommend trupanion if you are thinking about getting insurance for your pet.

Your explanations of benefits, payments, and what is not covered is clear and concise. You have been very responsive to any questions our vet has asked regarding benefits for our pet. Decisions on coverage have been quick and payments or reimbursements have also been fast. For the past 9 years, Trupanion has been exceptional. We have recommended Trupanion to friends and will continue to do so in the future. Thanks!

Healthy Paws is quick to take your money , , ,
Healthy Paws advertised that they are honest and caring. But like most insurance companies, they don't want to payout. I have been trying to complete a claim started about two weeks ago. They are still requesting information; I submitted their request each time from my vet's office. Now, I get another email, they want records of every visit my dog ever had!!! Stay away.
