A very good experience with the my first submitted claim
This is my first with pets best and so far my experience with them is incredible. I have an 80% reimbursement coverage and Bestwellness routine care coverage for my dog. Last week I submitted my first claim and it was a wellness claim. In less than a week the claim was processed and the payment was deposited into my bank account. The payment was exactly as I expected! I guess I will renew my dogs policy with them next year!

I love Pets Best Insurance and here's why...
We have been using Pets Best for our cats for more than 12 years. I love them and recommend them to others whenever I can for these reasons. They have never denied or disputed a claim that I thought should have been covered AND they have always renewed our policies year after year even though over the years we have had so many claims that they have paid us many times more than we have paid them for our premiums. In addition, their support people have always supported me and my pets, and I especially like their latest addition of free vet / vet tech advice which I have used several times and been very happy with. This year, the time it takes to deal with claims has gotten very long compared to the past but, for us, that hasn't been a problem. For all these reasons, I highly recommend this company.

The best company
PetSecure has been awesome to deal with. They are very personable and helpful in giving a quote, setting up a policy, and answering questions you may have. This was my first time getting pet insurance for my cat and I'm very glad I did. The vet submits your claims so that is very easy they just need your signature, you get an email when a claim has been received and it is quickly processed and direct deposited in your account. You can access your client portal anytime for information regarding claims or anything else. The premiums are great and set up as pre-authorized debits so they come out of your account each month. Unfortunately, I recently lost my service feline Mitzy traumatically and they were so quick in cancelling my policy so that I got a refund on that months premium and her final claims were processed quickly so I had the money in my account very quickly. I got a sympathy letter explaining they cancelled my policy and then a card from them. The card was absolutely beautiful and in memory of my Mitzy they will make donation to an animal charity in Canada. They make an annual donation at the end of the year for any pets that have passed away that year who were their clients. I think that is amazing. I would definitely recommend them!!!

While I appreciate the flexibility and coverage of Pets Best, as well as the ease of submitting and monitoring claims, I'm extremely disappointed in the excessive wait times and illogical process for deciding premiums. It's taken months for claims to be completed and many of my responses went unreplied to. My premiums were dramatically increased for a pet with no claims outside the yearly check up, and if that continues every year, the insurance price will soon be unmanageable. I expected premiums to be based on age categories, not increased dramatically each year.

Nationwide Pet Insurance is the best investment I ever made!!
We adopted Roxy, a female mastiff, in June of 2018. The rescue recommended we get pet insurance. Roxy has since been through surgery for ligament tears on both her right and left hind legs: Surgery on the right hind leg performed in Dec. 2018 and then a second surgery performed in March 2019 on the left hind leg. Each surgery cost just under $5,000 after all the follow up and PT visits. Nationwide Pet Insurance enabled us to afford to help Roxy - I don't know what we would have done with out it. Roxy is now like the bionic dog, stronger and faster then she was before! Thank you Nationwide!

So grateful for HealthyPaws
We had a wonderful experience with HealthyPaws. Our dog George had emergency bowel obstruction surgery, which was very expensive. Even though we'd been paying the HealthyPaws premiums faithfully for a year, I had heard horror stories from friends whose pet insurance had found loopholes to get out of paying at the last minute so I was still concerned. But I shouldn't have been! Submitting the claim was really easy and I had the reimbursement check in hand very quickly afterwards. We are so grateful that HealthyPaws was there for us when we needed it and I recommend them to all my friends now.

THE BEST INSURANCE COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH!!!
I have never had pet insurance prior to getting my current dog five years ago. I had been recommended to healthy paws from a friend but never had to use them. However, my dog developed a serious bladder problem and she needed several test that were quite costly. I submitted my claims to healthy paws which was made EXTREMELY easy on line. The checks came before I barely got the biopsy results! It was so swift that I could barely believe it...There were several claims and as each got submitted the check came shortly after. And, I also received an email from customer services asking about my dog...a personalized email. I will never use another pet insurance company and I am their biggest fan and advocate for anyone needing to purchase insurance for their pet...Thank you healthy paws from the bottom of my heart!!!
