Long Processing Times and Difficulty Getting Claims Paid
My claim was denied originally despite all documentation from the visit being provided. When I tried to reach someone on the phone or chat it was almost impossible. When I finally could talk over chat I was told the doctor's SOAP notes were needed from my pet's very first visit that was months prior and unrelated to the current claim. The doctor sent them over, and despite PetsBest saying the claim would be reopened when the notes were received, it never was. This time I was able to get someone on the phone from your company after almost an hour of waiting, and was told the notes from the doctor were never forwarded on PetsBest end to the processing department after being received. Months later, the claim was finally paid out, but never would have been if I didn't call to make sure you all did your jobs properly on your end.
