Dog insurance is needed & Nationwide has proven why!
I'm happy to say that in crunch time Nationwide has come through and covered my pups when needed. Sophie recently was found to have kidney stones and rushed into emergency surgery all during COVID-19 quarantine. The vet was quick acting and the surgeon was fantastic then to top off a perfect road to recovery, Nationwide stepped in and covered almost half the cost of the procedure. I will never have another dog without having it covered for major medical.

Great Customer Service
Owning a new puppy comes with a lot of challenges! We want to do the best we can for Ajax which includes his healthy puppy vet visits. We also want to make sure he receives the vet care he needs for sickness or injury. Having your pet insurance definitely helps. It is easy to make our monthly auto payments, file claims and receive direct deposit reimbursements. Your customer service team is very professional, friendly and helpful when we have questions. I would definitely recommend to other pet parents.

I was referred to Healthy Paws by a friend, he had such great experiences with the coverage and ease of claims. I wasn't sure if I would need pet insurance when I adopted my Z, but I'm SO glad I did. She is a great dog, but she likes to chase bunnies, and injured her doggie "ACL" running a few weeks ago. I was told how expensive the surgery was, and I don't know what i would have done without Healthy Paws covering much of the costs. I was nervous about submitting claims, but they were processed very fast and I had my reimbursement in a week. I use the Healthy Paws app and just upload the invoice from the veterinarian, so so easy. My Z is recovering well and I am so glad this experience went so well!

Having lost a dog to lymphoma a few years ago, when we got Rana (Raina), the first thing I did was look for really good pet insurance and settled on Nationwide. It is a blessing. Raina started having a problem with standing about two months ago. She a young dog. Her diagnosis is not solid yet, but it's looking like an autoimmune issue. We're waiting for final test results, but so far she's been seen by an orthopedic vet and now an internist, who has really narrowed down her issue and she's being treated with prednisone and an anti-biotic with really good results so far. Waiting for test results from NC University (I think that's the school) about the issue.
