Our Journey
The team was extremely sensitive to our situation and handled it with care. The claims process was hassle-free that further dampened the effects of dealing with issues with filing our claims, of thousands of dollars. Having pet insurance at hand, even though we didn't anticipate any issues with our four-legged family member this early in his life cycle, was one of the most sensible things that we could have done. This is how helpful TP was to me.
I needed to ask Trupanion to change the date I paid the monthly premium because of work paydays. They were really fast to reply, and happily changed the date to accommodate paydays without even asking any questions. Any interaction I've had with them has been a pleasant one with friendly reps.

Big bill mostly covered
Willow stopped pooping and started throwing up. We thought she might have an obstruction, lots of tests later found she only had an intestin infection. It was still over $1000! Thank goodness for Pets Best. They came thru with flying colors for us!!

I'm sticking with Trupanion
I'm very happy to have enrolled my new Lab mix in Trupanion. I have had several very ill dogs, most recently a standard poodle with an unusual stomach issue. Surgery was unsuccessful and he ultimately passed. He was insured with another company and his care was more than twice the annual coverage limit. I will only insure my dogs with Trupanion from now on.

Healthy Paws has been a lifesaver…
Healthy Paws has been a lifesaver (literally) for our sweet little pug, Rosie. We got her as a puppy and thankfully we chose healthy paws as our pet insurance. Within her first year she had a major seizure and was diagnosed with autoimmune encephalitis. She has an excellent neurologist who has been able to keep her seizures under control with lots of medications but it is VERY expensive. We call Rosie our million dollar pug — she almost 3 years old and still living a happy, nearly seizure-free life thanks to Healthy Paws. I recommend them to everyone I know! Their customer service is excellent and it’s so easy to submit claims and get reimbursed. I wish my own health insurance was this good!
