Excellent pet insurance for the price
Excellent pet insurance for the price. I have had them for several years for all 3 of my dogs and cat. They cover nearly everything, are responsive, and very nice people. They don't cover dental, but have covered all of my claims like like they state in there plan. Solid insurance!

Healthy Paws Pet Insurance has been one of the best things I could have purchased for my pets. All of my pets 3 dogs, 1 cat have Healthy Paws. Not only are they responsive, they are nice and are really fair price. My dogs are large breeds so their bills are not cheap. Healthy Paws has processed every single one of my claims in a timely fashion and you can call them and talk to them about billing or if you disagree with a claim. They are very nice and very helpful. Overall they have been fantastic. I really wished they had some form of dental plan for dogs it would make it fantastic.

ZERO stars
ZERO stars, completely worthless. They are happy to take your monthly premiums, but don't help you out when you actually file a claim. It's been over 2 months and they are still "reviewing" the initial claim. Now we are unable to get other insurance because our dog has current conditions. Don't waste your time with this company, save yourself time and money, find another Pet insurance!

I love Figo!
I love Figo!! I wish my own Blue Cross Blue Shield was this easy and accommodating. Figo is timely and they don't try to get out of paying claims like most insurance policies. I am so grateful to Figo. My new dog has had some health issues and I am just so grateful for this policy and how well Figo is run. Everything is so easy. LOVE IT!!

Waiting period is two weeks. My dog was sick during the first week.
I am new to pet insurance as we have been paying out-of-pocket for our dog’s medical bills for the past 13 years of his life. We decided to finally give pet insurance a chance as he was getting old and purchased a policy plan. The policy coverage guidelines stated the main important points, such as policy effective date, price points, coverage %, and eligible coverages. He became suddenly ill and we had to take him to the emergency vet, where they examined him and discovered an illness that had a very painful, low survival rate even with surgery. We ended up having to euthanize him per the doctor’s recommendation, to lesson his pain as it would only get worse by the seconds. The medical fees for that night ended up being $1200 and we weren’t able to receive a single penny and were simply told that there is a waiting period, which was stated amongst a long list of the policy’s notes. I wish they had stated that there was a waiting period at all on the main statements about our dog’s policy. I feel as if the waiting period defeats the purpose of having an insurance at all as we really never know when our pets will become sick or end up in accidents.

I have been with Pets Best since my dog 4 months old now he is 8 years old. So far I am very happy with the insurance services. It is very easy to file a claim as long as you have all the documents submitted online. No complaints, love it.

I feel like I have a partner in my pets' health
I've been a member of Trupanion since 2014 and I will always have Trupanion for any future pets. The peace of mind I get knowing I don't have to make medical decisions for my pets based on cost of care is the most comforting part of being a Trupanion customer. I've used my insurance for my dog who ended up getting a life threatening autoimmune disease and the treatments wouldn't have been possible without insurance. Once of my cats had kidney failure and I was happy to know if he needed diuresis, I could do it. Now, I have a cat with gastrointestinal lymphoma. I was able to get the diagnosis and chemotherapy needed to keep her quality of life the best it could be. Submission of invoices are super easy. Claims are paid quickly. And I've even used the direct to vet pay option for larger bills. I feel like I have a partner in my pets' health and I couldn't be more thankful. I recommend Trupanion to anyone with a new pet, or a pet that doesn't already have insurance. You can never start too early, but it can be too late. Preexisting conditions are not covered, but that is any pet insurance company.
