When I got my dog Rooney as a puppy, I decided to get him health insurance because I didn't want him to ever lack the care he might need. After reading the positive reviews for Healthy Paws, I chose them and could not be happier. Exorbitant yearly price increases
I've had pet insurance with Healthy Paws since March of 2018 and luckily we have a healthy dog, so we have not made any claims to date. The initial policy cost $43.23/month and every year there's been an exorbitant price increase. I just received notification that beginning in March, my premium will increase to $92.17/month! So, within three years my dog's policy went from $518.76/year to $1106.04/year... That's practically a 100% increase...IN THREE YEARS. What a racket.

Waste of your money
Try calling Pets Best, chatting or emailing them. There is no response. They delay claims and misplace information sent to them. I have contacted the BBB about them because I feel scammed.
