Just in case insurance
I've had Trupanion since my dog was a little over 1yrs old and nothing has ever been covered in the insurance plan. I think truly the only way this insurance is helpful is in the case of your pet gets very ill. I pray that never happens to my dog, but keep it as a percussion.

Very happy customer
I recently filed my first claim with Trupanion (only 2 months after I signed up) and the communication along the way was excellent. The online portal was easy to navigate and understand. After submitting the claim, the automated communication updating me on the status of the claim was also really great. In the end, Trupanion covered what I expected them to cover. It was great taking my dog into the vet that day knowing I was covered by Trupanion.
