Filing an insurance claim is not fun, but the Trupanion people always make me feel good. They don't make me feel stupid about asking questions. Ari was really helpful walking me through the process. I also appreciate that Trupanion people always ask about my dog and how he's doing. That's really nice and makes me feel good.

I have already given this recommendation to everyone I know that gets a pet. We have seen the benefits of having insurance 1st hand . We unfortunately have had many pets over the years that required expensive medical treatment and totally thousands of dollars. I would never Dopt another pet without getting Insurance.

I received a very quick response to my claim but was unaware of how it had been hamdled.
I received a very quick response to my claim, but was unaware of how it had been hamdled. Normally, the Vet would have notified Trupanion and then would have received a portion of the bill directly from Trupanion and I would have paid the difference. This time, I paid the bill and then the Vet submitted the claim. I expected to see a credit go back on my account, but the transaction took place so fast, and I had some credit with the Vet so they cancelled the charge entirely. I misunderstood since I was looking for the credit and called Trupanion. Due to the quick and factual info provided by the Trupanion agent, I was able to learn what had occurred and was relieved to find all was in order.
