Trupanion has been a godsend!
Trupanion has been a godsend! Our last little boy was a shitzu mix named Mac. He was our angel, unfortunately towards the end of his life he had major health issues and it cost us over $15k in medical expenses. It was devastating losing him! We never thought we would be able to go through that again. We decided to "visit" the shelter where we adopted him.. (just to visit!) Of course we fell in love with one of the recent inmates! Another Shitzu Mix. We adopted him and named him Pepe. The first thing we did was to get medical insurance. Trupanion was recommend by our vet. Pepe was and is such an amazing little guy. He was perfectly health for the first 2 years, and then all of the sudden he couldn't keep his food down. It turned out that he had type 1 diabetes. He was hospitalized for over 1 week. What would have been $5k bill ended up being under $1K. Trupanion was there every step of the way! So loving, so caring! No hassles. I highly recommend Trupanion! I cannot say enough great things about Trupanion.

Excellent in service and care!
We have had this service for many years and have been very satisfied! the customer service, the online system for claims, and the all round care of this company puts them in my number one spot. When my Doberman Crade Eyian passed away last year they did not hesitate to refund the unused paid insurance, they even sent a card! The staff member who I spoke with was very kind and showed a lot of compassion. Now with Crade gone we have been utilizing the insurance for our other pup named Bella Nox who is 10 now and is going through tests for Cushing Disease , and let me tell you the coverage for all the tests and medications is well worth the monthly payments. Your refund is 2-4 weeks, but submitting everything takes seconds. I have no problem waiting on the refunds as the service is what I truly care about. If information is missing on a claim they will contact you immediately to ensure you get the refund. I fully recommend Pets Plus Us!!

Dependable and valuable pet insurance
I have owned several dogs previous to my being blessed with my Hava Apso, Lucy Lu. I have never had pet insurance with any of my dogs, until Lucy. Healthy Paws was recommended to me by a neighbor who subscribes. When she asked me if I have ever had pet insurance before and my answer was "no" she recommended Healthy Paws. One of the smartest most valuable moves I have ever made. Lucy had to have two surgeries to correct a bone problem in her leg. The costs were astronomical and thank heavens for Healthy Paws. They were fast, courteous and reimbursed me immediately, within days of my claim. Never had problems or additional worries with each claim submitted. They are absolutely wonderful and reliable. I have recommended them to many others. Highly recommend HEALTHY PAWS

Trupanion makes filing a claim easy.
Easily done, quickly notified of claim being received, the claim was directly forwarded through my veterinary hospital so I had no paper work to fill out, everything was done at the clinic and on site. Overall it was seamless to send in the claim.
