I am so disappointed with the service…
I am so disappointed with the service of this insurance. I just received my recent billing, and there was an increase in my policy. There was no notification that the policy would be increased or the reason. They take forever to process a claim.

This company can improve by covering services for our pets that we are paying for. I submitted an appeal for a denied claim for my cat who had a enucleation surgery *before* he came to me. He developed cysts only *after* the enucleation surgery, but y’all have denied paying that claim saying it was pre-existing. It was not pre-existing and my vet made it clear that it was not pre-existing yet y’all still will not pay. At this time, I am considering canceling coverage for all six of my cats because y’all are simply not paying.

Should you get insurance if your pet is young? A THOUSAND TIMES YES!!!!
My little two-year old kitty accidentally chewed on a lily leaf and Trupanion saved the day, paying over $2,500 DIRECTLY to my emergency vet clinic. My baby had to have an intravenous IV for 48 hours and if it weren't for Trupanion, I never would have been able to pay it without going into debt! The amount of money I have put into this insurance for the past two years is far less than what Trupanion paid out for my little lion cub. TOTALLY worth it! For anyone who has a YOUNG KITTEN and you are wondering if you should get insurance - especially if he/she is active at all, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it and - GET TRUPANION! This service is partnered with vet clinics across the country. Find clinics they are partnered with near you and Trupaion will pay them directly, so you can get your little fuzzy sweetheart taken care of RIGHT AWAY instead of having to wait to get an invoice, pay yourself, file a claim and all of that headache. Get Trupanion, seriously. I have recommended this insurance to all my friends and family members who have little feline or puppies in their lives. Get it today! :) They didn't pay me to write this either. Couldn't be more thankful and my little kitty is doing so well now thanks to this great service. You never know when you are going to need this and believe me, the event comes when you least expect it.
