Quick Claim Processing
I am very happy with Healthy Paws! I've had two cats in the past year get very sick with a coronavirus at different times. They are both young and vaccinated, so this was unexpected. Maybe a new strain for cats? I had bills of over a thousand dollars for each cat, and it was extremely helpful that I quickly reimbursed by Healthy Paws. You never know when your pets may get an unexpected sickness. I've had pets for over 30 years and I've been burned by very high vet bills. I am glad I chose Healthy Paws, and I would highly recommend.

Beyond Horrible Pet Insurance
Beyond Horrible Pet Insurance! If zero stars was an option I would give them zero stars! They don't even deserve one star. Total rip off, in my book complete thieves! They refused to pay for my claim because they state that a symptom which hadn't had a diagnosis because no vet had come up with one was considered pre-existing. So basically if the dog sneezes and you take them to a vet then later do a claim for that visit they refuse to pay for the claim stating to me that the symptom is pre-existing! Also takes them close to 45 minutes to get a rep on the phone. They also made me send them a bunch of vet notes called SOAP to be denied later because in my case the vet was still trying to figure out what was wrong with my dog and why she was getting diarrhea. It honestly seemed from the many request for the same notes and x-rays that they were digging to try and find an excuse not to pay for the claim. Stay far, far, away from this company get Nationwide pet insurance instead at least they pay the claims and not make you feel like if you're trying to take advantage of them. Yeah the representative I spoke with made me feel like if I was trying to rip them off! I have never been so ill treated by a company like this one. Hope this helps someone never pay them one red cent they are truly the definition of horrendous service! The reply from the insurance company below is a complete lie! No where on the medical notes from the vet does it say that she had a pre existing condition let me know if I should send screen shots of these notes which they already have but won’t show anyone a copy of course! Also, take note how they are not even offering to contact me to fix this situation if they were being honest then contact me and tell me where the hell it says that the condition of my dog was pre existing! Train your customer service better! Trust me everyone don’t let this company rip you off! Acting all innocent almost a month or more later wow just wow!

Would never reccomend trupanion to…
Would never reccomend trupanion to anyone. Like any insurance they are there to do one thing, make money by denying claims. They denied my dog a surgery for his breathing in part because he had a physical during his wait period which he was having allergy trouble.. Mind you the surgery was 3 years after i had his insurance. When we were looking at surgery the insurance informed us he was insured for breathing trouble but if we had him neutered they would not only refuse to pay for the neuter, but would also not pay for anesthesia and other things. Even though it was recommended by the vet since Bulldogs have more complications than regular dogs when under anesthesia. Dont believe the lie they care about your pet. They are there soley to make millions of dollar's. I encourage everyone to look at yelp and bbb reveiws to confirm what im saying didnt just happen to me. Dont throw your $ away like i did with this company!!!

Healthy Paws Pet Insurance on 1 year old Wire-Hair Pointer
I have had Healthy Paws Insurance on several of my dogs over the years and this year we had to submit a claim for our 1 year old wire-hair pointer, Helga. She developed a cataract on her right eye and because she is a hunting dog, it was very important for us to go through with the surgery. Helga is doing well and recovering, but it has been a long road. The easiest part of this entire thing has been working with Healthy Paws. Uploading the claims is so easy and within days I had answers on what was covered. I have received over $4,200 from Healthy Paws to cover her eye surgery thus far. Thank you for making this hard situation a lot easier.
