Rapid and comprehensive coverage.
My dog required anesthesia to clean a wound from a dog bite, followed by stitches and placement of a "drain" while the wound heals. Trupanion covered 95% the costs minus the deductible IMMEDIATELY. I wish that insurance for humans was as good!

Trios ion has been a Lifesaver
I can’t say enough good things about Trupanion and the claims process for our dog Frankie. At the young age of 3 1/2, she was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer. Thank God we already had Trupanion insurance. The representatives calmly explained how to file claims and the online process to file them is super easy. I highly recommend getting pet insurance for your beloved pets. You just never know when something awful could happen. Luckily, we got the option where after we pay our deductible, Trupanion pays 90% of the costs. We saved thousands of dollars in out of pocket expenses. Thankfully, with Trupanion insurance we were able to have our sweet Frankie treated. She just finished her last chemo treatment and I’m so happy to announce that she is now cancer free!

Excellent customer service Stephanie was fantastic she answered all my questions about the coverage etc she was so professional and helpful I give her 100 on her knowledge and her kindness and care I signed up immediately the coverage is amazing and the customer service is excellent, I hope I don’t have to use this but I have peace of mind if I do that prudent will be able to help with the cost

If only I could give them a zero rating...Stay away!
They’ll find every reason to deny claims. Have been a customer for 11 years. Customer service used to be good and claims process fairly easy, but has been declining during the last couple of years, Unfortunately, my dog is too old and have pre-existing conditions so switching to another insurance carrier may not make sense.

Trupanion is the best pet insurance and I am glad that we took Trupanion for our pet Mike
Mike had 2 surgeries on his legs and going in for the 3rd surgery now, his liver values are high as well and needed some tests. Trupanion covered everything 90% and also cover for his medications. We are so fortunate to have taken Trupanion insurance for our Mike. Thanks a lot Trupanion! It's definitely a Pet's savior!

Prompt, efficient and trustworthy.
My 1 year old Border Collie mix chewed on plastic and had to have emergency surgery on February 15. I submitted her claim to Healthy Paws within a few days of surgery and received an immediate response. We were updated through the claim process. Once all of the medical history was uploaded and reviewed, we received our statement of coverage on March 11. It was an easy process and we are so grateful. They even sent an email checking on Poppy’s post surgery progress. We are very pleased with Healthy Paws.
