RX Food Only Covered for 2 Months

I was disappointed to doscover thay one 2 months of a prescription food was covered. This food was prescribed by my vet and my dog has to be on this food for life as part of her medical treatment. It is not for maintence. Believe me, if I could put her on a cheaper food I would.

I have previously used a different pet insurance and they were very hard to deal with reimbursements would take at least a month to receive and the rates were very high.

I have previously used a different pet insurance and they were very hard to deal with, reimbursements would take at least a month to receive and the rates were very high. Customer service thru Trupanion has been great and the plans are much more flexible and reasonable.
