Have had VPI since Rio was a pup. He has been healthy and no need to see the Vet other than his regular checkups. On his senior checkup at 7 yrs old, vet discovers that his liver functions were high. Had to run several blood draws, fasting and two hours after eating. Has had an ultra sound of the liver to determine if he had cancer. Thankfully, he doesn't. Now they want to do a liver biopsy which is scaring me a bit. Anyhow, I have spent over $1350 the past 8 months, on specialists, tests, medicines and the like. Received back $1018 in paid claims. All claims were paid within two weeks. I love their website and their online claims. Have recommended the company to many of my family and friends and will continue recommending them. Great company to work with. Knowledgeable customer service agents clarifying what is and what is not covered. We have Major Medical.

On each visit we received a paper estimate from Trupanion's cover before we left, and by the tme I got home (10 minute walk) Trupanion's email confirmation had arrived by computer.

I submitted one claim for $609.37 for an emergency in March. I received $189.81. The next claim was $816.00 also an emergency in June and I received $51.76. With both emergency visits I paid $1183.80 while VPI paid $241.57. I have had my cat insured for about 9 years. I am not pleased that more was not covered. I thought that this was what I had insurance for especially emergencies.

I've had two claims with Healthy Paws and both went exactly as I had expected. I really appreciate their simple straight forward claims system and fast payment. I have checked out a lot of insurers and I really feel that Healthy Paws has the best coverage for the least expense and I recommend them every chance I get!

We've been with Embrace for about five years now. They have always shown the utmost care and concern, and their process is hassle free. From years in which we don't have any incidents to the ones during which we've had to depend on them, they've been honest, always helpful, and eager to do the work so that we could concentrate on helping our little guy heal. This incident was a laceration to our dog's ear. In their typical no-hassle fashion, Embrace responded to our vet's fax quickly and everything was explained to us promptly. I was initially interested in pet insurance after watching my brother nearly go bankrupt after his two dogs had separate liver and spine issues. My future mother-in-law raved about Healthypaws, but being my future mother-in-law, I took what she had to say with a grain of salt. I initially reviewed my options and really only considered the price. Laurie, my future mother-in-law constantly proclaimed how easy the claim paperwork was (you can seriously just drag and drop a pdf file...), and how quickly she was reimbursed. She had had quite the experience because her pit/lab had blown out both his ACLs... You will always wonder if insurance is worth it until you need it.Fast forward 10 months, and we now have two dogs, that are both covered. We notice that my lab/shepherd has a limp but I assume it is nothing more than a pulled muscle. Three weeks later, with no progress, we determine that she has blown out her ACL as well! As a note, we pay for 90% coverage with a $100 deductible. From initial consult to completion of surgery, we have paid approximately $480. The total cost of the surgery was over $3,800... Here is where Healthpaws really stood out to me. First, they paid the cost of the surgery up front. I never even had to file a claim to be reimbursed, so at the vet I paid only my 10%. Second, I have received multiple personal emails from members of their service team following up on the progress of my dog. It is a level of service that is rarely found and truly refreshing. Healthpaws is clearly a company where the employees embody their mission and values. I have decided to create a second income stream for myself by referring as many people as I can to them, because I am truly believe they are the best on the market.

Embrace is great! Getting animal insurance with them was the best decision we made! They pay our wellness check up, hastle free. Our dog had to have surgery for her broken leg and they cover 80% of the total, they also sent us the claim check surprisingly quick. If it wasn't for Embrace we wouldn't be able to pay for everything. I definitely recomend them! The only detail that you have to keep in mind is that you have to be organized and send your claims. Other then that, they are quick and reinburse you for the right amount!
