My State Farm agents office representative Keiko knew I had a pet named Ranger which I was very fond of. She was excited to tell me about a new product offered by State Farm: Trupanion. She went over the details carefully, shared the pluses of the broad coverage, the advantage of flexible deductibles...and I could not wait to sigh up.

They would build and apply any clause…
They would build and apply any clause not to pay you. MY dog tore her ligaments 4 months after I started the insurance, I have proofs, confirmed by the vet, that had no preexisting conditions, but they've a little clause in their contract that they would not reimburse this kind of surgery in the first 6 months. They didn't care about the vet nor all the videos we have of her running and jumping, nothing. Now I paid both the premium and the surgery. Never again.
