Made a Devastating Event a Bit Better
Our first claims experience sadly was our only one for our best friend, Balto. I am so thankful we had Trupanion set up a few months before the surprise illness that ended up taking Balto away from us after we tried surgery and put nearly $20,000 into trying to help him. In such a devastating time it was an absolute blessing to find out that Trupanion was going to cover nearly all of those expenses and reimbursed us - making a horrible situation just a little bit better by relieving the financial troubles. We are forever grateful for the help - I just wish we could rely on Trupanion to help us with Balto more - but we will certainly be using Trupanion again when we are ready to bring another furry family member into our lives.

Trupanion has helped my dog and I by being efficient, sensitive and thorough when it comes to handling our claims. I can't say enough about them other than how grateful we are. Not very impressed
Self submission of claims can lead to insufficient information regarding claims in office visits. Visits are often multi purpose but not stated in the insured's input on purpose of visit. This trupanion may not know the context of other line items on the invoice.

Really responsive.
Trupanion is fantastic. I joke that our dog has better health insurance than we do (there is a lot of truth to that). Their team is very responsive and super nice on the phone. Claims are processed within a day or two.
