No compassion from agents
You must submit a claim in a timely manner or it will be rejected. In this day and age, I'm doing everything in my power to cover my own expenses. That keeps me very busy. I lagged on submitting my claims till I really needed the money. They denied several of my claims because of a hidden clause in the policy about submitting within 270 days. I've lost over $1500 because of this and they won't re-consider. I won't re-consider them for any of my future pets. If I could, i would switch companies but because of pre-existing conditions I'm stuck.

Obtaining pet insurance with…HealthyPaws
Obtaining pet insurance with HealthyPaws was the greatest decision we’ve made for our now almost 2 year old Labrador Retriever. Benefits are clearly explained. Customer service is top notch with quick response times and claims processing. No need for the vet to complete special paperwork; just snap a photo of the vet invoice and submit via the HealthyPaws app. Our girl recently needed emergency medical care which was quite costly. Within two days, HealthyPaws had reviewed the claim, directly deposited our reimbursement, and even followed up to see how our girl was feeling. Highly recommend to any and all pet owners!!

I have faithfully paid all my premiums, they have denied two claims because of a clause stating you must submit your claims within 270 days of service. I'm quit busy and don't always have time so I left it to work on when I had time. I've lost over $1500 because of this hidden clause in the policy.

Trupanion helped save our Maggies life!!!
Trupanion has been awesome for both of our dogs! Because of Trupanion our dogs are healthy , happy, and we are truly thankful we have insurance to keep them that way!! Insurance is a must for pet owners!

Thank goodness for Healthy Paws!
I can't say enough good things about Healthy Paws pet insurance. I initially purchased it when my son left his rescue dog, George, with me when he moved out of state to pursue a new job. George was 4 months old at the time. Eventually, George became my dog permanently. I love him -- and Healthy Paws has been with me every step of the way! Over the years, George has had minor issues -- allergies, skin conditions, ear infections -- all which Healthy Paws paid for promptly. When George tore his meniscus chasing bunnies and needed ACL surgery ($6300 -- yikes!), Healthy Paws paid 80% of the cost. As a business owner struggling with decreased sales during a global pandemic, receiving the reimbursement check in the mail brought tears to my eyes. Healthy Paws' claim process is simple and effective. You can even submit claims via their mobile app, if you're so inclined. The icing on the cake? After I submitted the claim form for the surgery, someone from the Healthy Paws Foundation followed up to see how George was doing. If you're looking for pet insurance, I suggest you give Healthy Paws serious consideration.

Great choice of a company .
I recently just insured my rescue dog with Pets Best . Within a week he had a vet appointment for a checkup . Filed a claim and within a week I was credited $$ back on the bill . So far it’s been super easy to file a claim , no hassles and fast payments . 🐶 Bruno the bloodhound approves !!

What would I do without Healthy Paws Insurance!?
My dog has special needs and I don't know where I would be without Healthy Paws. I was on the fence about getting insurance after I first adopted my puppy but I'm so incredibly grateful that I did. Not only is this company affordable, but it's coverage is also so impressive. I've never filed a claim and had it processed so quickly before - Literally a reimbursement check in the mail the same week.
