Nicky has some health problems; one in particular we are still trying to clear up. Embrace has been very fair and helps to take away the pressure of my ill dog who is like my third child. Costs are high and they help to pay for these expenses. I would highly recommend Embrace for anyone's pet health insurance.

I signed up for Healthy Paws 2 years ago at a friend's recommendation. He had been through a claims process and said it was easy. I needed insurance so I thought, why not? Boy am I glad I did! Recently we had to use our insurance for my dog's broken tooth. The claim was processed within a few days. As it was the first claim, it required his medical records but his dr's office faxed it directly with no issues. I'm expecting a check any day in the mail. Pain free and seamless. Healthy Paws even emailed to check in on my dog! I am highly impressed.

This company takes far too long in refunding a claim. And they have the nerve at certain times to year to excuse themselves by saying its "a high volume time" for processing. I pay these people 80 bucks a month for basic illness coverage and 20 days to get a re-imbursement is complete bullshit. Manulife, which is one of the worst human providers of all time, can have my claim back to me inside of week. These people have no excuse.

With every claim, however, including one that I had questions on, the staff were professional, friendly, helpful and respectful. If I questioned 'why?' on something, they checked into it and gave me an answer. I have tried to make sure I know what is covered and what is not and I have my policy in my pet's file so I can reference it, if needed. I just filed another little claim late last month and I have already received the coverage check. I have NEVER had a problem that couldn't be reasonably resolved. I have recommended this company to many, many people over the past years and I will continue to do so. I only wish I had been wise enough to get Trupanion coverage for my other dogs in the past.

We took our baby girl to the vet without a bit of worry about how to pay. We could concentrate on getting our baby girl better. Unfortunately she is now in doggie heaven. Pets Best made it so much easier by promptly paying the bill and canceling the policy with a refund. I will be back when we can recover enough foe a new dog. Thank you Pets Best.

Have had my policy for 8 years now and they have paid and not paid. Most disappointed in the large claim they did not pay for a kidney removal on my dog at the age of three. They called it a Congenital Defect even though she showed no signs of a kidney problem and we only found it while trying to determine back pain. We fought and fought the claim to no avail. They wouldn't budge on their decision.

My Jack Russell terrier Riley was attacked by a Rottweiler (it wasn't a fair fight) in an RV park in Cottonwood, AZ.
