Been with Trupanion for almost a year now. Have heard nothing but amazing things and I have personally had an amazing customer service experience while being a member. Everyone where I live uses and swears by Trupanion! Every pet owner should have pet insurance, vet bills are insane without it, and I highly recommend Trupanion.

Helped me save my cat
My cat ate a friend's headband (6in of elastic). I rushed him to the emergency vet right away since his regular vet couldn't see him. They were able to x-ray him and see it in his stomach. Because it hadn't yet moved to his intestines he thankfully didn't need surgery. Instead they were able to put him under and use a scope to allow the technician to pull it back out of his mouth. The whole procedure only took a couple of hours and he was back to normal. I'm so thankful I had Trupanion pet insurance so that I only needed to pay a portion of the cost and was reimbursed for the rest. Even without surgery his operation was nearly $3,000, had he needed surgery it would have been closer to $7,000. I really think everyone should have pet insurance in case of an emergency. Hopefully you'll never need it, but if you do, it can really save you financially. The claim process was really easy. Just submitted the itemized invoice and Vet information. Highly recommend.
