Trupanion has been a blessing for our Morkie…
My Morkie is 10 years old and she has had Trupanion insurance since she was 12 weeks old when we got her. Over the years she developed back issues and she needed surgery. Having Trupanion was (and still is) a blessing. We were able to make a decision based on what was best for our baby and not on what we could afford. I recommend Trupanion to every pet owner I know. The claim process is very easy and the response time is very fast. Although it may not be the cheapest pet insurance, it is definitely worth every penny. It was very clear to us from the beginning what our package covered so we’ve never had any issues with a claim in all these years.

Trupanion to the rescue
With COVID the ability to see a vet on a timely basis is non-existent currently in Ottawa. Minimum 4-8 weeks for a regular appointment otherwise it's the local ER clinic as the only option. I found clinics serving the public much faster but they were in Toronto. I took the appointment. My dog was seen, assessed and treated in 3 days. I paid for the hotels no issue. And Trupanion came through in a huge way. They covered everything that was in the agreement contract I had with them. I was fully willing to pay the bill because it was out of my region but it was such a seamless process and speedy as well. I paid everything was reimbursed within 3 days of submitting the claim. Thank you to everyone at Trupanion.
