Sargent Tibbs and Trupanion
Our Sargent Tibbs was a very affectionate cat with a bad habit of stealing his brother's food as well as people food. Cheese bread being his favorite. Unfortunately, this led to him blocking. With help from our vet, the animal hospital, and online help with a Trupanion rep, we were able to submit our claim to Trupanion and were covered for $10k+. We got 2 more years with him as a result until his passing in January of 2026.

Stay away from this company and their insurance. They claim to cover a lot of things but when it comes down to needing to use the coverage they will do everything in their power to say the condition was pre existing. Premiums continually raise and the amount they will pay out lowers. Do not use!
