Not as convenient and time delays
The reimbursement time delays have been pretty consistent since I started. They changed their login process with finger print, that I can’t do on my phone. Now I have to use the iPad to put a claim in so it’s not as convenient. I suspect a lot of people don’t have fingerprint technology on their phone.

Best Pet Insurance Ever!!!!
Trupanion if very efficient and quick with taking care of the claims submitted. They provide almost instant decisions when going through your veterinarian and they do get back to you with their decisions within 48 hours of submitting the claim on your own. I've had Trupanion since my cats were kittens and never thought to use it when I needed it before until my 6 year old male cat got crystals and an infection in his urinary tract and couldn't urinate. I went through this with my previous cat and it is a pricey procedure when the cat has to have surgery. I contacted Trupanion right after the first visit because I didn't inform the vet that I had the insurance but the vet now has it on file and anytime I bring my cats to the vet they apply for the insurance. I would recommend Trupanion to anyone who gets a young animal because you never know what's going to happen or how much the vet bill is going to cost.

ASPCA Reimbursement was a Breeze
ASPCA was quick to reimburse the amount I paid for a Wellness check under the preventative plan I purchase from them. (Within one week!) Hopefully I won't have to use the illness or accident insurance, but I do have confidence that my costs will be reimbursed in a timely manner.

ASPCA was recommended by my Vet. So far I'm well pleased, especially with the staff the handled my application. I was affiliated with another pet insurance provider that provided extremely poor service I'm looking forward to working with a pet insurance provider that has such a great reputation.
