Trupanion misrepresents themselves on annual rate increase.
Trupanion misrepresents themselves on annual rate increase. When we originally signed up in 2011 our policy was $28.62. Now in 2021, that same is $103.56. That is almost a 400% increase. Trupanion has stated that the increases are based on our breed and zip code, but will not provide any supporting data. The veterinary providers in our area ha e confirmed that they have not experienced increases that would warrant this extensive hikes. It is disappointing and I would not recommend Trupanion as a provider for that reason.

TruPanion has always been very aggressive in claim processing, resolving claims in a matter of minutes or hours - not days or weeks. Claim settlement has also always been incredibly fair and transparent to the policy holder. Everything is clearly spelled out in every claim resolution.
