Very poor customer service via email
Very poor customer service via email. I have submitted the same requested information from the Vet per Pets Best request; however, there is no follow through by Pets Best unless I call and spend two hours of my time. Additionally, there is no comprehensive policy documentation telling me specifically what is covered and what is not covered under the insurance policy.

Thankful for Healthy Paws!
Healthy Paws has been so helpful to have for our bulldog Stella. They’ve always provided fast and friendly service and checked in on Stella after a major surgery she needed. English Bulldogs can come with a number of health issues in their lives. Being a family that adopts and rescues bulldogs we need all the help we can get. Of course in our case with Stella she had no preexisting conditions since she came to our family pretty young. Healthy Paws definitely helps with those unexpected medical expenses. Does not cover everything of course. Preventative care is not covered. But unexpected surgeries or monthly allergy injections which Stella needs are covered up to 80% and that helps so much!

Huge, unjustified rate increase after 1 year
Be warned: their website claims that they make only small annual increases unrelated to past claims or age of the pet, and only considering advances in technology and care procedures. But our renewal proposal was for a 33% increase with no justification. Cancelling with them to go with a less exploitive company.
