Dog I did have,
you hide your phone number and since it was auto payment I want to cancel do not have the dog. You just go billings me even I tried to cancel, Scam.

Wow! Great service and quick turnaround with claims. My cat had a big health scare and needed chest x-rays and to be hospitalized for a day. Once I got all the paperwork and receipts I immediately submitted them and got my payment back in less than 24 hours! Love Spot Pet!

When I called to find out the process…
When I called to find out the process the person whom I spoke was very helpful. It was a relief that Trupanion paid the doctor directly, it was one less issue I had to deal with. I mentioned my experience to some of my fellow teachers who became interested and said they were going to look into getting Trupanion for their fur babies. I hope they do if not it's their loss:(

My 7 month old puppy had an emergency and the emergency vet office took his insurance, I haven’t found any vet that takes it and I need to do claims myself. So this was a happy surprise.

Looking into different insurance companies
I will be searching for different insurance companies after this experience. I submitted a claim on March 2nd, submitted all the paperwork, it kept getting denied because they lost my vets notes, so 3 months later of going back and forth with them, they finally “found them” all of a sudden, just for them to deny my claim again, I submitted an appeal but just found out I was given the wrong email so I have to call back AGAIN, and was told the appeal will take another 30-60 days, mind you, I have been dealing with this for 3 months now. I pay quite a bit of money a month for this insurance just for them to give me a headache and not want to pay a single penny of any of my dogs vet bill. By the time this is all done we’re looking at 5 months to get a claim processed.
