🚨 Attention Pet Owners! 🚨 Beware of Nationwide Pet Insurance. After nine years of loyalty, consistently paying my premiums in full, Nationwide abruptly eliminated my policy—with no option to grandfather it in. Despite my long-term commitment, they offered no meaningful alternatives or consideration for existing customers. Instead, they’re now pushing a “modular” plan that sounds flexible but is far less comprehensive. Coverage is fragmented, and many essential treatments and services are either excluded or come at an extra cost. It’s a downgrade disguised as an upgrade. If you're shopping for pet insurance, read the fine print carefully. Pumpkin means I can focus on my cat and not the bill
Having Pumpkin insurance means that whenever my cat is ill I can focus on her and not stress over the cost of her treatments. Filing a claim is easy, they've made the process very user friendly, I only have to check a few boxes and upload the vet bill . Pumpkin will reach out to the vet directly if they need additional medical records. The communication from Pumpkin was great. The official approval is back in just a couple of days, and they always encouraged to reach out with questions. Since they are great at providing information I rarely have any questions.

I have been a customer for close to eight years. A vet tech had recommended Trupanion when we adopted our little Sandy from a shelter. She has undergone two successful knee surgeries and a mass removed and Trupanion has come through each time. If it had not been for Trupanion it would have been very difficult to get the care Sandy needed.

Processing Time & Seasonal Allergies
I love the service, but the estimated processing time is always way under the actual time. Additionally, it's frustrated something like seasonal allergies are treated as a preexisting condition as it isn't something a dog develops. It should be treated like heartworm meds. That being said, I really do love MetLife pet and the service you provide.

Insure your dog.
My dog Finn has used Embrace insurance for 10 years. Phone calls are easy if I have a question and the humans who answer are the best. I wish people insurance was this easy. I recommend pet insurance and when I do I say Finn uses Embrace.
