we have been very happy with trupanion and how they have helped us with three of our dogs in the last 6 months. there would have been no way for us to get our dogs the care they needed if we did not have trupanion. we very much recommend trupanion if you are thinking about getting insurance for your pet.

Your explanations of benefits, payments, and what is not covered is clear and concise. You have been very responsive to any questions our vet has asked regarding benefits for our pet. Decisions on coverage have been quick and payments or reimbursements have also been fast. For the past 9 years, Trupanion has been exceptional. Healthy Paws is quick to take your money , , ,
Healthy Paws advertised that they are honest and caring. But like most insurance companies, they don't want to payout. I have been trying to complete a claim started about two weeks ago. They are still requesting information; I submitted their request each time from my vet's office. Now, I get another email, they want records of every visit my dog ever had!!! Stay away.

We recently had or lab/boxer mix flip his stomach requiring emergency diagnosis and surgery. Total was just under $20K. Trupanion paid their 90% in under 4 days from submittal of final invoice. Very simple, and quite amazing after 6 days in ICU... we had our beloved Sugar-Bear back home. Less than 6 weeks later, back to normal. Highly recomend after 6 years with Trupanion very pleasantly surprized.

My German Shepherd Ruger
My German Shepherd Ruger - My experience with Trupanion has been completely positive. When Ruger has had structural issue develop that required Surgery, Trupanion's assistance has been exemplary. The Claim submission process is uncomplicated; the Trupanion review and processing of a submitted Claim has been addressed very efficiently; the approved portion of a submitted Claim has been fully explained, and the payment of the approved portion of a submitted Claim has been provided almost immediately after the approval amount has been determined and presented to me.
