Forever Grateful to Trupanion
My cat was recently diagnosed with diabetes, then shortly after that we had a BIG scare when he was also diagnosed with pancreatitis and went into diabetic ketoacidosis. Trupanion covered the majority of his six-day stay in a critical care unit, for which I will always be grateful. No one thinks a crisis of this magnitude will happen to them, but unfortunately it hits some of us, and when it does, it hits HARD. I am so thankful to have a Trupanion policy. Their responses were quick, and staff was kind and patient when I was crying so hard I could barely speak clearly enough to say what we needed help with. If I could, I would give them 100 stars.

We decided on Trupanion after speaking…
We decided on Trupanion after speaking with many vets to determine which coverage they see the most and believe to be the most beneficial. We are very glad we went with this coverage. Although expensive, it has been a true life savor for us over the last 5 years. We’ve had everything from allergies to a full hip replacement covered and given our dog the best possible care.

I'm paying a lot of money every month for nothing
I'm paying a lot of money every month for my dog insurance, but when I take my dog to the vet, they only give me 5% of what I paid at the veterinary. Completely worthless. Stay away.

Very useful for our young dog.
We got Trupanion for our dog Wendy as a puppy. She is two years old and had a lot of unexpected health issues this year. Without our Trupanion coverage we would not have been able to afford her treatment ($15000+ in the span of 8 months), and would have had to make a tough decision. The deductibles tax and exam fees are still expensive and out of pocket, but Trupanion has made treatment possible. So far there has not been any increase in our monthly payments, I am hoping that it stays that way. We also have coverage for our other dog, who thankfully so far has not had any issues.
