Exceeded my expectations.

I had owned another dog that developed severe heart issues. We were faced with huge bills to try to save him. When I got Waffles I decided to look into insurance. My vet’s office had info on Trupanion. I’ll admit to some skepticism and concerns, but I went ahead and signed up for it. My dog is only 1 year old and has been diagnosed with allergies that affect her ears and entire body. Trupanion has been wonderful. My vet files the claim and I get a notice it’s being reviewed. The last claim was paid the day after I went to the vet. This is wonderful and a big relief to me. I know I don’t have to worry whether I can take care of my dog.

Spot Pet Ins is very slow to pay…

Spot Pet Ins is very slow to pay claims, even when the claim is using the Preventative policy. Communication with them is frustrating. I'm going to be canceling my policy and going to a different company. It's been almost 2 months since my last claim on Preventative, and still they say they require more information- my pup had been on their policy since she was 12 weeks old, they already have every medical piece of info, but still are taking time to pay reimbursement. Listen to the reviews I should have. Go elsewhere .

Easy Simple to register, and sensible rules are clear cut. I have had other pet insurance, they felt inconsistent and constantly have to explain why a disorder was not part of another diagnosis.

While the premiums keep going up

While the premiums keep going up, the service has also improved. The claims process has greatly improved and you get reimbursed very quickly. I was amazed to see the money in my account a week earlier than anticipated. And for someone on a fixed income that is a big deal! Good job!!

PETS Best is truly the BEST!

Have had Embrace for many years with…

Have had Embrace for many years with many animals.Have had other companies going back almost 50 years. Read the fine print and look for what is excluded. I have found Embrace to be a company with empathy. They always listen to your side of the story. Remember, get insurance the minute you get a pet. Once there is an issue, it is too late. It is the proverbial locking the barn door after the horse gets out.
