The Representative did listen to my question, but he seemed distracted and could've given more attention/focus to my inquiry.

Pets Best Has Paid All The Routin...
Pets Best has paid all the routine care the policy covers in record breaking time. It's usually less than 5 business days from the time I submit the claim to the time their reimbursement shows up in my bank account!

With our pets being healthy, it did not make financial sense to keep paying the monthly premiums while still having to pay for wellness checkups and costs not exceeding our deductable of $200.
With our pets being healthy, it did not make financial sense to keep paying the monthly premiums while still having to pay for wellness checkups and costs not exceeding our deductable of $200. For example, our dog was taken to the vet for a wellness checkup, for shots, and an ear infection with the total coming to over $200. Because the wellness checkup is not covered and the ear infection portion was around $100 (which was applied to the deductible), we paid $200 on top of the monthly premium. It was decided to put the monthly premiums in a "Savings jar" to be used for future wellness checkups and any other expenses for our pets and hope and pray for the best as folks did years ago. It would be good if Trupanion considered full or partial wellness checkup costs. Regarding communicating with the Trupanion agents, they were all very pleasant to talk with and knowledgeable about their products and your situation (even the late night/early folks). Your information is quickly gathered and presented in front of them AND there are no menu options to press (wish other companies could/would make it this easy to talk to a live person). Good company to work with. Thanks!

The representative did not help my situation because the agreement I accepted included the 30 day elimination.
The representative did not help my situation because the agreement I accepted included the 30 day elimination. I just adopted a retired guide dog about 2 months ago. She ended up with an ebola bacteria bladder infection. Next, she contracted pancreatitis and was very sick for several days. Both events were unexpected and very expensive. Though she is worth every penny, no one expects such serious health issues so soon. It is frustrating to know that none of the costs were covered and never will be, because she contracted the pancreatitis and bladder infection during or before the 30 day period. I hope there will be no further illness for a very long time, but I feel that I should have considered the details before enrolling with insurance.I respect the rules, but it seems there should be exceptions.
