The Best Pet Insurance Company

I have 2 little female doxies and when I have had to take them in to the vet, I get nothing but the best service from ASPCA. They have called to check on my girls, they process my claims fast and they are the greatest people to work with. I have recommended ASPCA to new clients at the clinic, and have requested information be sent to my clinic.I have had other insurance companies and they do not compare to ASPCA.

Best thing I could do for my dog

One Sunday morning, I knew something wasn't right with Roxie. She wouldn't walk and was trembling and whimpering in pain. I hated the idea of having to go to an emergency clinic, but I quickly thought, "that's what her pet insurance is for." I took her to the local emergency clinic and 4 hours and $600 later, they told me that she was just a senior corgi that was starting to show her inevitable spine and hip problems. I turned in her claim and it was only a couple of days later that I was reimbursed, and the next week someone from ASPCA called to check on her. I have had nothing but wonderful experiences with my policy and will continue to keep Roxie insured. I work in the veterinary field and anytime someone asks me if I know anything about pet insurance, I always recommend the ASPCA.

Cancelation of Policy

I took out Insurance on my dog and did not received the policy when I called and received policy I reviewed I was not happy with the terms was I called and canceled the policy I had found out that second installment was deducted from my credit card card, I was told that I had 14 days to review the policy so they can give me a portion of the 2nd installment. This alone tells me that this was a good decision to cancel my reason for cancelling is that when I read the policy you have to pay the Vet bills upfront and the submit the bills to the Ins co. the they would to review and then decide if to pay it and then the would 20% of the amount, I would rather open a savings account, and use it as the need arises

Excellent service!

I am so happy with the service I received with aspca. Every staff person I speak with is extremely kind and helpful. Their service and the fact that they do allow dogs with preexisting conditions was the reason I chose them and I am glad I did. Claims are processed quickly which is very helpful since I submit frequent claims with my dog.

Very fast and very fair

My dog Zoey was dealing with a lot of illnesses at once, and required a number of vet visits. Ultimately, she needed some expensive CT scans and even more expensive surgery. I filed multiple claims with ASPCA Pet Insurance (a process that was quick and painless), and to my surprise, not only did they process the claims in just over a week, but they were very fair with the payout. No making excuses, or trying to get out of paying, they paid out exactly as agreed to in the contract. My vet bills ran into the thousands, and ASPCA Pet Insurance helped to ease that burden considerably. I highly (VERY highly) recommend ASPCA Pet Insurance.

Best insurance company for ripping you off

Worst insurance company ever! They have the absolute slowest claim refunds, which usually takes at least a month, and completely incompetent staff. When my insurance was up for renewal I received a call from them ensuring me that my coverage would not change but I was absolute not informed that my premniums WOULD DOUBLE! And when I called they said the only way to lower my premiums by ten dollars is to double my deductible. Absolutely disgusting excuses for human beings. Do not use their services or you will absolutely regret it

Easy to understand; very helpful

We have 3 exotic shorthair kittens who can be prone to breathing problems due to their smooshed faces. I was torn about investing in pet insurance as this was my first time purchasing. I did extensive research between plans, trying to figure out an apples to apples comparison and have to say Betsy, my customer service rep, was fantastic! She answered all of my questions over many phone calls, and made me feel comfortable. Every claim has been quick and easy and the direct deposit has been most helpful. I am very thankful for the coverage I have.

Excellent Peace of Mind!

I am so pleased with this insurance. My claims are resolved within seven days and the direct deposit is in my account within ten days. Coverage is great with prices for everyone. No hassle claim submission. Really nice! I am so happy I have this program for my Charlie and I have recommended it on social media to all my pet friends.

AvoI'd at all costs

Our seven year old, healthy Lab has been covered by a PetFirst policy since he was 12 weeks old. Recently brought him in to the Vet, sent in a claim and was denied on the basis of a "pre-existing condition." Unbeknownst to us, and NEVER clearly stated by anyone at PetFirst, is the fact that if your pet is called covered in (for example) Year-1 for said injury, illness, etc. and Year-2, same injury/illness occurs, you're NO LONGER COVERED. Each year the policy "renews," previous covered conditions are categorized as "pre-existing." If this isn't snake oil, nothing is.
