I received prompt help from customer when I needed it and was also given lots of information on how Trupanion worked, my policy and important documents, tips and resources, etc. when I signed up, which I really appreciated and it made things very simple and easy to follow. They also have an app that is fantastic and provides you with all the information and support you need.

Great customer service
My experience with customer service was prompt and my problem was resolved efficiently. It is so rare to immediately speak to a person -- especially after hours on a weekend! Representative Peter helped me change an error I made with an online policy quote and purchase. He quickly canceled the policy and helped me secure the correct policy. He was helpful, personable, and made sure to give me all my options. I already feel assured that we chose the right pet insurance carrier for our newly adopted girl.

Not worth the money or the trouble
My dog passed away suddenly from an undetected cancer. Embrace denied all of our claims as pre-existing conditions, saying that previous illnesses were evidence. This is despite our own vet's comments to the contrary. The claims process took two months as we went back and forth with Embrace digging through every last health record from anywhere she had been seen. This is a company that will work hard to find a denial reason for any large claim.

Just brought my puppy home 12/3
Just brought my puppy home 12/3, signed up for Figo Pet Insurance. My puppy had his Vet visit, I submitted my claim with picture of my paid invoice. That same day I received notification that Figo processed my claim.

shady signing up practices
shady signing up practices, when quoted they told me the 35.00 fee was waived if done over the phone, when i called to book it i was told it was expires. no mentions of this in the first call. If this is how they start i cant imagine how they will try to get their way after you already paid the premiums. their simple response is they did not find the file but when i called it was too bad so sad... there is only one acceptable result, honor what you offered.
