Lost finished quote
I made a new quote and my payment went through but, it's gone and I don't have access. I was on thank you page, received an email for my payment. On the Thank you page I was trying to sign up as a member but, but it would not work, so I refreshed the page. Refreshing the page removed all that information and took me to a checkout page. I already finished my quote but, it's gone now? This is frustrating, I spent 20 minutes trying to get back to the page, but it still takes me to the checkout page. Edit: After reaching out, I successfully got the account set up. Great support team

Very happy with Healthy Paws
Healthy Paws is a great company. I decided on their top tier insurance policy and the coverage has been life and money saving. My lil love Tobey has had tumors develop on his precious paws which needed removal. Thankfully, they were benign. The procedures were quite expensive and healthy paws covered the majority of the cost each time. They do any time an emergency or problem develops. Whenever anything occurs with Tobey I know he'll get the best care from his vet and that I'll get the best care from Healthy Paws. They even checked up on him by emailing me to make sure he was doing well. They're customer service is fabulous and I feel good knowing that they donate money to animal non-profits. I definitely recommend Healthy Paws for your pet insurance provider.

It took a while
It took a while, and after deductible, items not covered and a co-pay, I got about 2/3 back. I set reimbursement at 90%. Apparently they don't cover prescription food, even while in the hospital.

We purchased Shultz's pet insurance when he was young and healthy. He is now 10 and has some difficulties. His pet insurance has always come through for us. Every pet owner should have insurance for their babies, there will likely be a time you will need it.

Health Insurance for our New Puppy

We’ve had Healthy Paws for our dog Balthazar for three years now. Since getting the insurance our dog developed allergies that needed monthly medication and he’s also had a couple of accidents that needed emergency care. Waste of my money and time
Trupanion only looks at the vets notes, does not do any follow up with the vets office to verify the results. In my case this is costing me $$$ and time to fix. What do the reps at trupanion get paid for? == PS: I HAVE spoken to trupanion SEVERAL times already. Don't ask me to keep calling you up. You don't make an effort to help your customers. You marked my pet's condition as a pre existing one but this was NOT the case. My Vet had to call you up to explain it, he could have easily said he is too busy to call an insurance company. Luckily he was considerate. I am deeply disturbed by this. When you mark something as pre existing condition it affects all my future claims and you know this quite well and have been trying to exploit this fact.
