It's so easy
Every time I call in, first thing out of their mouth was, "Is Milo (my little Beagle Boy) okay?" It makes me feel like my dog is the most important. It is so easy to work with them for whatever question or issue I have.

Reasonable premiums, long reimbursement wait time
While the premiums are more reasonable than most comparable coverages, the customer service is lacking (you can tell even in the customer service responses on here.) It also takes way too long for reimbursement. I understand you state it takes up to 39 days but that doesn't change the fact that it is too long especially when payment needs to be made in full up front to the vet. My other pet has a different company and claims are reimbursement within a week on average and their customer service is stellar.

I have been happy with the claims process
The coverage and reimbursement process are thorough and fast. I've never had an issue with a claim. I've had this insurance for about 7-8 years. My only complaint is the premiums. My pet started at under $50 per month for the highest level of coverage. Now I pay over $100/month ( $108?) They have a lot of age limitations now and the premiums even for young dogs are quite high. I signed my new dog up with a different company, soley based on premiums. I chose as close to the same coverage as possible and it's $15 less per month than healthy paws would be. I made 1 claim, which was paid, but the process took a month longer.

I had an issue with my billing cycle…
I had an issue with my billing cycle (my bank mailed me a new card and the expiry date and 3 numbers at the back were different). So, that caused my payment to not go through. I got a text advising of the issue. When I contacted them later, there were no extra fees or penalty fees. The staff was super friendly and accommodating.
