Be careful with them hiking your policy by $20 every year or two. I started out paying $34, and they gradually increased it over the years to $80 a month. My dog is 6 and has no health problems.

I have an 8 month old puppy. I knew that I hadn’t met the deductible for this problem but called Trupanion for some advice as this was my first potential claim. The customer service person suggested I submit a claim anyway in case my dog had future issues related to the present problem. It was helpful and honest.
