It was a bit confusing because the first email I received from Trupanion said my claim wasn't covered, but then I received a check and a second email (for a different claim # and amount) that said part of it was covered. Manny's teeth were cleaned as he had to be put under anesthesia anyway for removal of the mass, I didn't expect that part to be covered. But I also didn't know how Trupanion would divide up the costs. In the end it was fair and I am quite satisfied, and happy that payment was made so quickly,

Incredible experience
I’m so glad we had Trupanion on a scary night because I wasn’t worried about anything other than my dog getting the emergency care she needed. It was a scary night I knew my vet staff were handling the details with Trupanion. When the time came to discharge my dog home from puppy ICU, I paid exactly what I expected. Thank you so much for having our family covered when we needed it most.
