Trupanion insurance to the rescue!

Bert has been losing weight and was seen 3x by his family vet. After his 3 yr old shots he became lethargic and started having seizures, I needed to take him to the ER Vet and he had to stay a few days. They were able to diagnose him but it took many tests and medications and the bills were over 6 thousand dollars. Good thing I have a doggie AMEX card. After he was back home and stable I completed the online form and was paid in less than a week. This is the first time I have had dog insurance for my guys and I am impressed. It does not cover the regular vet exams but when you have a true emergency, it is great coverage.
