Dont get it.
The point of pet insurance is to help in financial situations you could not otherwise afford. You have to front the coat of the entire procedure, and then wait for reimbursement which for all the my multiple claims has taken a month of longer. They’ll send you emails saying sorry it’s taking so long but I’ve received those the past two years for al my claims and it’s not getting better. I’ve had to appeal multiple times to cover a claim that I pay for that they said they wouldn’t recover even though it should have been covered so after appealing they take an additional 10% out of the money they should have given you. All in all if I could switch to trupanion I would do it but I’m stuck with this and I hate it and find it so frustrating every time I have to submit a claim. Is it better than not having insurance, yes but through the stress of a sick pet and then trying getting the money you need to feed yourself back and waiting months at a time just isn’t worth it. Pay the extra money a month for a difference insurance and be less stressed.
