It feels a bit expensive, even when you sign up a young dog. They disallow consultations for referrals to specialists, which I think should be covered as those are not wellness exams. Claims process is easy though.

I was VERY impressed by your company. Everyone I dealt with was extremely compassionate & very well informed. I was so pleased & surprised by the speed with which you settled my claim & allowed me to reimburse my partner for his considerable expenditure during my beloved Rottie’s last week. There will be 2 Pug puppies in my life within the next year & you can count on them each being signed up with Trupanion as soon as I get them home. I submitted two charges at the same time, one for $824.93 and one for $56.06. I received a response to the one for $56.06, but haven’t heard from the one for $824.93.

Trupanion is a lifesaver.
I have two kittens, one of which has an autoimmune disease. If it weren’t for Trupanion I wouldn’t have been able to afford the initial testing and medication that she needs in order to help control her symptoms. I’ve made claims monthly for her, sometimes multiple times a month depending on vet visits, and they have always gone smoothly. If I ever have any problems, I can call any time to get help or ask questions. Trupanion has allowed me to give my girls the best care possible without having to worry about the financials, and for that, I’m grateful.
