Excellent reimbursement, prompt payment

We recently had two very big vet bills, due to sudden onset of seizures in our two-year-old kitty. We were pleased and relieved when ASPCA reimbursed us for 70% of the total cost. The money was in our account within one week of filing the claim, via direct deposit. Our policy is Level Two with $100 deductible.

Just seems if you are gonna give the...

Just seems if you are gonna give the insurance to new owners/ puppies one it should be easier to understand and find out about. It should possibly cover any problems and up to the new owner as to how an when they want to use it.

Nationwide Insurance has been the best decision that we could have made for our girl!

We had to have ACL and partial meniscus surgery for our 4 year old Rottie the end of 2017. Nationwide has been great with handling those claims and others for her. We have had no issues whatsoever and they are very prompt in paying on claims once we meet our deductible. We are going on our second year with them. We are very happy with Nationwide so far.

Embrace finally came through

My dog had bone cancer in a leg that had previously had arthritis. Embrace initially denied the claim as pre existing. I needed pre authorization to amputate and they denied it. Meanwhile we went ahead with the surgery to save his life since time was of the essence. After multiple letters from my Vet and phone calls from me they finally authorized. I think they probably deny claims thinking people won’t pursue. I don’t think this is unique to this company as I have experienced it in human insurance as well. But ultimately they came through. Just a reminder to pursue if you feel like an insurance company is in error of your claim.

Best decision we've made was getting a Nationwide Pet Policy!

We adopted Kiko this last October and our friends said we should get pet insurance. I shopped around and found that Nationwide had the best coverage at a reasonable cost. Kiko had double ear infections that were resistant to treatment that required several trips to the Vet and medications. We quickly met our deductible. Without this insurance the cost of his treatment would have been close to $1000. About a month ago he ate two chicken skewers off the stove top. The trip to the emergency vet hospital was covered at a 100% since we had already met our deductible. Having Nationwide has saved us a couple thousand dollars and we have only had the insurance for about 4 months. Best decision we made was getting this policy!!

Quick turnaround

Thank you for the quick turnaround on my claim as well as the email to check up on the recovery of my little kitty. She’s doing great. I’m glad that I have the insurance so I’m never worried about taking my cats to the vet knowing that they’re covered.

Peace of Mind

Broken Leg

My 2 year old schnauzer fell and broke her leg. As if that is not traumatic enough, the price tag for the emergency vet, surgery for placing two pins, and post care was extremely high. Nationwide processed the claim expeditiously and I am only out my deductible. Thank you so much Nationwide!
