Did not message me that I have a policy…
Did not message me that I have a policy after I thought I made the purchase, so I was confused. Follow-up messages appear otherwise and I'll be looking back on my emails to assemble details.

My Katie had a hospital stay for 3 days and a tooth extraction for a double tooth. Since these were my first claims, it took a little bit to be approved, since they need every chart from the first day Katie was at the vets. No problem for us. Trupanion was super. I think it only took a day to get almost 3,200.00 put into my account. I am so glad I got this insurance plan for Katie. Thanks to everyone there.

Our Beloved Labradoodle
Our beloved Labradoodle, Baxter, came to us from the breeder, with Trupanion. It was a 30 coverage. Ironically, on day 30, I found myself at Tufts Veterinary Hospital as Baxter had been injured by another dog. Right there in the hospital, I took out a policy and have had it for 8 years. Three months ago our furbaby suddenly went blind from meningoencephalitis and developed an unrelated cancer, sarcoma on this hind leg. Trupanion has made it possible for pup to have superb care at a veterinary ophthalmologist, neurologist and oncologist. As retirees, on a fixed income, we would have been hard pressed to give our Baxter the care and love he deserves. I tell my family and friends to subscribe to Trupanion, who have assured me every step of the way, not to worry, "they will take care of that." We don't know the prognosis for our adored Baxter, however, we do know that Trupanion provided us kindness, support and every opportunity to give our baby the greatest chance for survival. Together we are doing all we can, which gives us peace within. You never know when life will challenge your pets well-being. We certainly never saw this coming for our Baxter. I credit Trupanion with keeping him with us for as long as possible. They stand by their word and commitment 100%. We love the staff, their service, and their beautiful hearts. Thank you Trupanion.

Horrible
Horrible! FYI if your dog get injured during 30 days and has a ligament tear, they view it as an illness! Horrible waste of money! Customer service was callous and unsympathetic. Gross! Chose a different insurance🙏

I have not signed up for insurance yet
I have not signed up for insurance yet. Why not? Because I cannot get through on the phone to them. Sure, they respond to emails very politely and informatively, but what good does that do me if I cannot communicate by phone? I’ve tried for days on end to call. I keep getting a busy signal. So what would happen if I signed up , filed a claim and had questions? I’m very skeptical about signing up with a company I cannot even get through to by phone. It’s ridiculous.
