Trupanion is the best of the best!
Trupanion is the best of the best. Their follow up and follow through is above and beyond the call of duty. I have had many different pet health insurances in my lifetime but never like Trupanion. They pay you back immediately. I told our neighbors across the street who just purchased two 7-month-old small dogs to use Trupanion when they are under one year old. Thank you for caring so much about our family pets.

Emergency do not seem to be covered.
have file a couple of claims (90%) coverage but very little has been covered. Our Dog was struggling breathing and we rushed him to an emergency clinic where the issue was resolved by treatment. It was not anything pre-condioned yet nothing was covered. I was of the belief only routine vet visits weren't covered . Surprised an emergency does not fit within the claim. Have had second thoughts about continuing as insurance at the 90% level is expensive if emergencies are not covered. This was about a year or so ago but I still have an issue. We got the coverage for emergencies but apparently that isn't enough.

Bear has been covered since 2011 Happy customers
Our dog Bear has been covered since 2011 when we adopted him as a 4-month-old puppy. We just had to file our first claim ever and it went smoothly. We were able to do everything online and it was done/approved in less than 24 hours! Super quick and easy and our vet has already been paid the covered portion for his upcoming surgery appointment.
