Our little Champ rarely ever gets sick or has any issues, but when he stopped eating and started vomiting, we took him in immediately. He had contracted a stomach virus that required him to be hospitalized for treatment and fluids for several days. From our history with other pets that are insured through Nationwide, I felt confident in allowing Champ to receive the medical care that he needed to get him healthy again. He returned home from the vet completely recovered. We went from losing sleep from our worry, to being extremely relieved to see him come home and being back to normal. Nationwide provided a full reimbursement for the vet costs within just a week and a half of when I submitted the claim. It was yet another experience with Nationwide that makes us grateful for their coverage and gives us the confidence to ensure that our pets get the medical attention that they need, when they need it.

Extremely satisfied
I have had a Embrace policy for the past nine years since we adopted our beautiful kitty when she was 8 weeks old ! My cat has to take meds each month and Embrace is quick to turn around my claims whenever I have to order medicine for her and they are very good at communicating the status of my claim all the way through their claim processing ! They are a excellent company to deal with and pride themselves on their customer relation skills which , in my mind , is very important to all of us pet owners ! I would highly recommend them for anyone thinking about purchasing pet insurance ! You will not be disappointed !!

I just want to say Thank you! Its such a comfort knowing that Nationwide is there to help with vet bills. At times you don't expect things to happen with pets but just like humans there are emergencies that are unplanned. Recently I had to take my dog (my heart) Jackson to the ER Vet and was so grateful to get most of the money back from Nationwide. Thank you for making things a bit easier.

just on the fence about cancelling the insurance for Sadie. not happy about the new deductable for sadie's existing injury. I decrease her insurance monthly cost but wasnt aware of all the details surrounding since I had not received any communication about this.

Outstanding coverage and customer service
Our love of Labradors could put us in the poorhouse! Rudy is the second lab that we have owned that has knee issues. Although pet insurance is not inexpensive and your rates will go up once you file a large claim, it is very worth having. I have heard horror stories about other pet insurance companies, but we have been very happy with Trupanion. Not only are they super friendly, they pay claims very quickly.

Trupanion insurance has been a life saver for my 10 year old beagle mix who was diagnosed with bladder cancer in Feb. 2016.
I would highly recommend Trupanion to everyone with a dog or cat. My 10 year old beagle mix was diagnosed with bladder cancer in Feb 2016. His cancer is in partial remission for two years . Trupanion pays for 90 % of each of his monthly appointments with a veterinary oncologist which include ultrasounds and blood work. Trupanion also pays for 90 % of his oral chemo drug. The cost of one prescription refill is more than the monthly insurance premium. I really appreciate the compassion and empathy of everyone that I have talked with at Trupanion too.

You’re crazy if you don’t have pet insurance
Nationwide has been a lifesaver since I decided to get it 3 years ago. I have 3 chihuahuas and this past month was unreal. All 3 had something major happen within days of each other, 2 required major surgery 2 of the bills were just about completely covered and one unfortunately is a 2nd surgery on the same area so pre existing but I’m still thankful for what was covered. Without this insurance I would have maxed out 3 credit cards. If only my insurance was so good
