Healthy Paws- Two Paws Up!
Healthy Paws has proved to me why they are rated the #1 pet insurance! I have a 9 year old lab/pit mix that faced a gnarly gastro infection which ended up being diagnosed as pancreatitis. It was a really emotionally exhausting week and a half of him spending every day at the vet. Healthy Paws made worrying about the blow to my bank account the last thing on my mind allowing me to focus on the care Mister needed to get him back on his feet. When all was said and done Misters bills were over $3,000 and thanks to Healthy Paws I only had to cove 20% of that. They were not only quick to process, approve and reimburse the claims but even reached out via email to check in on him. There's no other insurance company i'd recommend.

Sam was great.
Sam was great. I work at a vet hospital and it seems like trupanion is getting harder and harder to get claims approved. There is always some type of" loop hole" that is found and it's denied and then the dr needs to write a letter for it to finally get approved. My premiums keep going up (which would be expected) but I feel like it went up a few months ago and it just went up again.

Prices increase
Prices get higher and higher every year. Only way to reduce it is to increase your deductible. Just realized there can be several deductibles applied each year based on what you're treating. I thought it was an annual deductible like other insurances normally are. Less and less happy every year and every time I use it.
