Fast turn around of claim
I am along time user of Nationwide/VPI pet insurance, probably close to 20 years. The insurance coverage has gotten better over the years, and the turn around of claims is much faster. I highly recommend Nationwide pet insurance. One note though, as the policy holder, you have to be diligent in sending in your claims for reimbursement. You can’t recoup your premium payments, if you don’t submit your expenses.

Just love our doggy’s insurance. Very pleased that vet office can send bill and everything’s taken care of. Makes it super easy to provide good health care for our family pet. I have experienced some difficulty with receiving the payment (I don’t have a computer), but the phone representative was soo helpful and patient — he explained everything, including how to avoid the issue in the future. Terrific insurance!

You denied my claims
My claim was denied even though my dog Chis has a hereditary problem and you claim hereditary conditions are covered. Chis has hereditary bad knees/hips. I had to get my Lailie's back knees fixed because her toes turned in and she was constantly falling. Yet you denied my claim saying it was pre-existing condition. Well yeah it was hereditary, which you say you cover. So basically you lied about what you cover and I did the upgraded insurance coverage. I won't be renewing next year because quite frankly you suck and I'm very disappointed and will be letting the HR department at my company know you lie about your coverage.

Recovered from Rattlesnake Bite
Was very thankful that Trystan has a rattlesnake vaccine, we believe it actually saved his life. It was a tough week and there were days we thought he wasn’t going to make it. He’s doing well now and back to his normal. Having to worry less about the expenses made having the pet insurance well worth it.

Boo Loves Nationwide
We love Nationwide. I have recommended Nationwide to everyone I know. Our Shih Tzu, Boo is covered, and our beloved golden, Fred, was also covered up until his death in May of last year. In fact, when Fred was diagnosed with cancer, we relied on our Nationwide coverage to help with his diagnosis(s) and emergency vet visits. Boo is our number one priority, and vet care is expensive. Because we have Nationwide insurance, Boo will always be up-to-date on his exams, shots, etc. In fact, Boo's vet said he was in "remarkable" shape for his age! We will always have Nationwide coverage to make sure Boo is well-cared for!

Quincy is getting relief.
Quincy has been tested for allergies and he is allergic to 17 things. Finding chicken, turkey, eggs and rice as the most outstanding, his diet has been completely changed to beef, lamb and pork. He is still itching but my vet recommends a shot called Cytopoint, to try to calm him without steroids. I am so happy I obtained the pet insurance, as I had no idea he would have allergies. I'm sure we will get them under control and having the insurance will give him the best of care.

Easy to use the insurance
This is the first year that I subscribe to pet insurance for my dog. I was a little leery about ease-of-use and coverage, but so far so good! I am pleasantly surprised how easy it is to do.
