One of my best decisions ever!
I did a lot of research to find a good pet insurance company. In the end, I decided on Healthy Paws. This company seemed to have great coverage at a reasonable price. The percentage of reimbursement and the annual deductible can be tailored to your liking. I chose a 90% reimbursement with a $100 annual deductible. The bad news: I had to use this policy because my young dog (under 2 years old) tore ligaments in both knees. So far, one surgery has been completed with the other scheduled in a few weeks. The cost for the first leg operation cost about $5,000 with the second costing roughly the same. The good news: My dog is covered by Healthy Paws. I was very skeptical to see what actually would be covered, but was greatly and happily surprised that they covered everything. I took a picture of the entire bill with my phone using the Healthy Paws App. That’s it! The check is in the mail! In addition, every time I called, the people (real live people) who answered where extremely helpful and nice. What a great company!

Get pet insurance. It's worth it.
My beautiful Bernese is 6 now and has had Healthy Paws insurance since he was 3 months. He's had two tendon and ligament surgeries and Healthy Paws was there with me every step of the way. My first Berner had cancer and we didn't have insurance. It was too expensive and there was nothing more we could afford to do. I'm so glad to have the piece of mind that I can provide my best friend the care he will need for as long as he is with us. - Tracy S.

Very pleased with everything about Pets Best!
My cat became very constipated and had to spend the night at the emergency pet hospital. Everything was covered and filing the clam was easy. He has had several follow up visits and the claims have been paid promptly. I also find the premiums extremely competitive when you compare to other plans.

Don't waste your money!
This company is complete shit if you get a rescue dog or if you get your dog when they are older!!! They won't even cover diagnostics fees ($300+)!!! Let alone a $5,000 surgery that my girl needs for her Knee! They now considered a pre-existing condition although I've had this insurance for 5 months!! and if something happened to my other girl's knee it also wouldn't be covered! Don't bother with this company and just go to Hartville pet insurance! They don't consider things to be a pre-existing condition if it's been healed for 180 days and they only have a 14 day waiting period vs Pets Best "6 months"! They are about the same price and Hartville has better coverage!

Had other insurance companies but Embrace is the BEST !
This is our third insurance companies and Embrace covers more than those other companies. My poor golden had double knee surgeries when she was a baby and the last instance company wouldn't cover any of the surgery and together that was over $4000.We didn't heist to pay it for our baby.But as long as I have family pets we will be with Embrace that is a Promise too !

A Must Have
I debated for a long time on whether or not getting pet insurance was necessary. I finally took a chance and purchased Embrace Pet Insurance. I read the reviews from other insurance providers and came to the conclusion that Embrace was worth a try. I have now had all 3 of my fur babies insured through Embrace for nearly a year and I must say that it is totally worth it!! Embrace is friendly, fast and worth the cost. I will remain keeping my babies insured through Embrace. I tell my friends and family about it and my father even changed his pet insurance provider just to use Embrace and he too has been very pleased.

Healthy Paws is By "Paw" the Best Pet Insurance Company!
I have been with Healthy Paws for almost 8 years. When I adopted my rescue dog from the Humane Society several years ago, I really took my time and researched all of the different companies and policies out there and compared all of them carefully. I chose Healthy Paws not only because they have really good rates and benefits (which they do) but also because they are so upfront with their benefits and pricing. They don’t try to scam or trick you like a lot of other companies do. They are completely honest and trustworthy, which is so refreshing from an insurance company!! A big difference from other companies is that there is no per-incident cap, annual cap, or lifetime cap on benefits. However, the real clincher for me is that they even give back to help homeless pets. How many companies do that? I am so glad that I chose Healthy Paws. I tell everyone I know (including my vet) about their insurance and always recommend them. Submitting claims is super easy to do online, and my claims are processed promptly and reimbursement done easily with direct deposit into my checking account. After my senior dog recently had a growth removed from his leg, I even got a personal follow-up e-mail from them just to check up on my furry pal to see how he was recovering and to send him best wishes from Healthy Paws! I normally don’t take the time to write reviews, but this company really is exceptional. If you don’t have time to research and compare the different pet insurance companies, you can take my word for it that this is the one to go with.

Nationwide has been wonderful. All the claims agents have been so nice to work with. My claims have been paid quickly and fairly. The value is excellent for the premium. I will always have insurance for my little dog and it will always be with Nationwide
