I was disappointed to see the yearly cost go up over $300. this year which I thought was a really big price adjustment.
I have been very happy with Nationwide and their quick turnover with our claims for our Chloe who just turned 3 years old. I wasn't happy to see such a large increase in the cost of over $300 a year. I thought that was a little extreme.

Poor customer service
I have 2 golden retrievers and pay good money for the best pet insurance including the wellness plan. In my 7 years with Nationwide I haven't taken advantage of the dental cleaning. I recently took my dogs in for an exam to check out their teeth. 1 dog has 2 chipped teeth and the other is fine and just needs a cleaning. The estimate is between $400-$600 for each dog. I called Nationwide to ask about what is covered and was not helped at all as they won't even look at the estimate. I am not going to pay over $1,000 for 2 dogs to get their teeth clean and/or extracted if i'm not getting reimbursed for at least part of it. Currently looking into other pet ins companies that will provide better customer service and actually respond to emails.

A true godsend!
My dog recently needed surgery to repair a luxating patella. As a teacher I feared my “glorious salary” would not be able to help Tux get his knee surgery he desperately needed. I’ve had TruePanion since I got him and the service has always been great when he got into minor mishaps but I’ve never had to rely on it for something this major. My Vets office was able to get his surgery cost preapproved weeks in advance allowing me to rest easy. The day of surgery the technicians and staff at the Animal Hospital has no issues processing my claim so upon pickup of my pup I just had to cover a small percent of his care costs. Without TruPanion I’m not sure how Tux would have been able to get the surgery he needed. I’m blown away by the quick processing and customer service TruPanion provided me, my Vet, and my dog. This service is truly remarkable and a must have for any pet owners on the fence about getting insurance coverage for this animals.

Affordable, reliable Pet Incurance
Great Danes are very large dogs and could result in very large vet bills. I did some in-depth research on pet insurance before I got my Great Dane and Embrace had more positive reviews than any other pet insurance company. I love the flexibility Embrace offers with the amount of coverage the customer is comfortable with. I have had Embrace for over a year now and I am a very satisfied customer. I have the wellness insurance as well, which comes in very handy for yearly physicals, immunizations, grooming of nails and monthly flea, tick, and heartworm medication. My dog, Zeus, is my fur-baby. Embrace is there to help me protect my fur-baby.

I couldn’t be more glad to have gotten my dog pet insurance through Nationwide.
I had signed up for pet insurance through nationwide when my dog was a little over 8 weeks old. I was hesitant on what plan to do but decided on the nicest one possible just in case. A little over two years into paying monthly for the insurance, my husband wanted me to cancel it due to money. We were fortunate to have not had any issues so far with our dog so he felt the insurance wasn’t necessary. I decided that I felt it was best to keep it though just in case. Well then about a month after that, our dog became extremely ill. We had no idea what was going on and had to undergo many vet visits as well as put our dog through many tests. All of the tests that our dog had to undergo were very expensive. After doing test after test and receiving no answers we then had to decide to put our dog through exploratory surgery which would then give us the answers we were so desperate for. Had we not had insurance I don’t know what we would have done because everything we did was so expensive. Words can’t even express how happy I was that I did not cancel the insurance. Keeping that was the best decision ever because without it we would of had a hard time affording everything we did. Thanks to nationwide our dog is doing so much better and we couldn’t be more grateful.

I have been a policy holder with Figo Pet Insurance for years and throughout those years, the unexpected has occurred on several occasions and I am happy to say that EVERY time; Figo has been there, by our side to help get us through what is often a very difficult financial situation. The staff are incredible, they will lend an ear to listen to you in what is often the worse possible situations and will assist you with the slightest of problems to make sure that you can focus on the things that really matter...your PET!. Figo has been a blessing to my family. I recommend them highly to anyone and everyone I meet with pets. An annual premium is a small price to pay for a family member such as our pets. To those reading this review... I want you to know that Figo does PAY. They have never pushed to deny a claim. Over the years we have seen claims as small as $80 to as high as $20,000.00 and everything in between. I can recall two or three claims that have been in the 10's of thousands, and I can tell you all that I DO NOT have that kind of money to throw around... I have been able to pay the treatments upfront with the help of my family...& each time... Figo came through and reimbursed me 98-100%. What an incredible company. May God bless them, their staff, adjusters, etc. They are the reason my Paisley is still alive and enjoying every day :)
