Very fair and easy to use claims process.

The Nationwide premium is worth it for the peace of mind to cover my precious boy. He is my second dog with Nationwide and they have been easy to work with, and fair about what is covered and not covered. I recommend it to all my friends who have furry family members.

Responsive great - would like to do on-line versus mail in claim filing for faster turnaround

Nationwide is on my side

Now that she is three, with all the immunizations and well-baby checks behind us, I balked at paying for another renewal. Well, that was just dumb. In the Six months since I went ahead and paid, I have probably recovered my premium. Turns out three may not be an easy year, after all. Cricket is OK now, mostly. If only her sensitive skin responded 100% to all this allergy treatment—which Nationwide covers so quickly with so little effort from me. She did give me a scare earlier this week when she may have eaten a stray sewing needle. Xray showed she hadn’t, but the bill gave me another scare. Why didn’t I stroke out? because Nationwide is on my side. Thank goodness!

Rating of Nationwide Pet Insurance

Submission of claim and fast reimbursement are excellent. I originally carried pet insurance on our last Rottweiler and our current dog through Veterinary Pet Insurance and can only say great things about their coverage. However, since Nationwide Insurance has taken over the company the coverage amounts are not as good as VPI. My biggest complaint about Nationwide is the cost of coverage. My monthly premium increased from $99.00 to $162.00 a month!!! I understand that as a pet gets older the cost of coverage will increase but this is exorbitant! My dog's insurance costs more than my own!

I'm glad I opted to take out pet insurance for Rocky. It has helped with some of his medical costs.

Completely satisfied. I just wish some of the tests and his upcoming surgery would be fully reimbursed. I have paid into this health insurance for as long as I have had Rocky join our family.

Best Pet Insurance

I love this pet insurance. I had insurance for all my pets for many years with other provider whom I was happy until they got sold to another company who forced all customers to change policies, I did not want to and by the time of my renewal they use any excuse possible to get me out; unfortunately one of my dogs got sick and sadly died after surgery and I got not insurance. They tried to get me back which of course I refused. Then I found Healthypaws and couldn't be happier. Best possible options for my pets needs, fair priced, fair deductibles, excellent customer service and wonderful claim processing system.
