Please review/adjust coverage by state to represent the increase in premium charged by state
Hello - we just moved from Ohio to Maryland. Toby is our ~13 year old lab/shepherd mix. We renewed our policy for Toby this month and there was a significant jump in the cost vs. last year. When I asked the representative why the increase, she said coverage is based on age and state and having moved to MD, that is part of the increase. I have noticed that the cost of similar veterinary treatments here in MD are higher than in Ohio, I was also informed that the coverage from Nationwide does not increase. I'm very concerned about this... I, the pet owner will have to pay more for each veterinary visit, submit the claim, and not receive any increase in claim coverage/refund from Nationwide. Would appreciate a response on why this is... or to know that Nationwide will be reviewing the coverage by state to ensure that the same %age of coverage is provided regardless of the state if you continue to charge extra for our premiums by state. I hope that makes sense. Thank you!

My premiums have gone up more than 40% from 2013 to 2019 6 years.
My premiums have gone up more than 40% from 2013 to 2019, 6 years. I understand I have made a claim, however that is why insurance is purchased. I don't believe that the premium is justified to increased by this percentage, I wonder if it is only due to the fact that I have made a claim?

The claims process has been quick and have always received the reimbursement into my bank account very timely. My only complaint with Trupanion is you do not give discounts for multiple pets. I have 3 other cats now that could have been Trupanion customers but I went with ASPCA for them because they gave multiple cat discounts.

Insurance is a must have for your pet!
i wish the visit cost was covered :/ but otherwise trupanion is & will be very helpful to me & my puppy. pets can be expensive - insurance makes sure costs don't end up being astronomical!

Healthy Paws has been the absolute BEST for us!
I got insurance for my pup as soon as she was old enough. I had never gotten pet insurance before but thought it wise with a new puppy in the house! Boy was I glad! And I'm EXTRA glad it was Healthy Paws. They have a great app that I can use where ever I am so that I can get my claims in quickly and not have to worry about them. The turn around time is great for reimbursement and customer service has always been great the very few times I've reached out. Lola is now 4 years old and we've been through a LOT. I'm grateful for the caring people at Healthy Paws who even checked in on her when she had TPLO. Not your average pet insurance, I'm certain of it! Reasonable monthly rates that are right for any animal and budget. I highly recommend Healthy Paws!
